About the Role

Faith City Church, in partnership with International Student Ministries Canada, creates programs that foster community, belonging, and cultural exchange for international students and newcomers in Halifax.

As the Event Coordinator, you’ll design and lead engaging summer programs—helping people connect, build friendships, and experience community in meaningful ways.

What You’ll Do

• Plan and lead social and cultural events (picnics, excursions, group discussions)
• Create and manage content for social media and web promotions
• Connect with international students and encourage participation
• Identify community needs and connect people with helpful resources
• Work with volunteers to deliver inclusive and engaging programs
• Support additional initiatives like Vacation Bible School
• Provide administrative and front-line support when needed
• Participate in training and development opportunities
